Gamer or Complainer?

There are a lot of crazed gamers out there that will say/do whatever it takes to promote their favorite game or game system manufacturer. Armed with attitude and determination to do whatever it takes to bring down the competition, often this promotion comes in the fashion of criticism of other producers merchandise.

These loyal gamers are the ones that drive the competition among the manufacturers. Competition among manufacturer's is what brings gamers the best quality gaming products. It forces manufacturers to strive to provide the best product. The continued competition will always push us towards the "next generation" of gaming.

I am grouped with gamers that feed on quality gaming, regardless of the system provider. This group of gamers let the manufacturers offer their best and we choose what pleases us. It would otherwise be foolish to sacrifice a lot of fun gaming by picking one provider and becoming so loyal to that provider as to give up all other options. Is there an argument for the gamer that is loyal to only a single manufacturer? What type of gamer are you?
